As the Director of Ludman Planning, I offer over 25 years of expertise in planning, with a strong foundation in both development management and policy planning within local planning authorities. My decade-long tenure as a planning adviser for the National Trust has equipped me with unique insights into heritage and conservation needs.

Since founding my own planning consultancy in 2012, I have successfully partnered with a range of clients, from individual householders, to landowners and developers.  I provide dedicated and targeted planning expertise to navigate complex projects efficiently and effectively.

I also provide Neighbourhood Planning advice to a range of town and parish councils in the North East, and have an excellent track record in this area.
